Energy Efficient Office & Warehouse Refurbishment
MJC have completed the second phase of a major refurbishment at 201 Bedford Avenue for SEGRO, working with agents Hollis.
Comprising of a 15,000 sq ft warehouse with 1,697 sq ft each of ground and first floor offices, the property has been refurbished for re-letting, incorporating the latest upgrades to improve energy efficiency.
Phase one included stripping out the previous tenants fixtures and fittings including partitions; roof repairs; internal and external decorations; electrical installations; flooring works to offices and warehouse.
Phase two included the installation of nearly 200PV panels and two EV charging points. All work aligns with the Responsible SEGRO commitments to be Net-Zero Carbon by 2030.
Energy Efficiency Improvements
To improve EPC ratings we also installed new insulated sectional doors and replaced existing lighting with new LED lighting throughout. The wet heating system to the offices was replaced with more efficient electric panel radiators. To improve biodiversity we have installed green roof bicycle and bin stores, planted with locally appropriate species.
