MJC Construction & Refurb have carried out a £400,000 refurbishment and upgrade to improve EPC ratings at units 805/806 Oxford Avenue on the Slough Trading Estate and to return them as two separate units.

Working with contract administrators Hollis on behalf of client SEGRO, this 12,170 sq ft / 1,131m2 unit has been fully refurbished prior to re-letting. Consisting of ground floor offices and warehouse/production facilities, work included stripping out existing services and installing new energy efficient heating, lighting and ventilation upgrades. This is part of SEGRO’s planned Sustainability programme.

Further partition walling and block work created additional meeting rooms, followed by painting and decorating, new carpets and vinyl flooring.

Externally MJC Construction removed cladding and carried out minor asbestos works and roof repairs.
