Warehouse Refurbishment
MJC have completed the £250k refurbishment of industrial units 6&7 Pioneer Park, Portsmouth, working with Spring Building Consultancy for clients Aviva.
Work was required to strip out the previous tenants’ alterations and return the property to a good standard prior to reletting.
The first-floor offices required removal of office partitioning and replacement of existing kitchenettes, washrooms, carpets and air conditioning.
On the ground floor we reinstated an open plan undercroft space beneath the first floor offices, repairing all internal blockwork, making good and laying new warehouse floor coating. Internally we installed intumescent fire and smoke seals to all doors.
Externally all roof cladding sheets required cleaning and repairing, including the installation of new roof lights. We also carried out repairs to the loading bay doors. To improve the access routes and general appearance, we cleaned existing pathways and planters and painted new road markings.
